The development features 110 units across two blocks in five floors each. There is a concierge, a communal courtyard garden and cycle storage for residents. On site parking spaces are also provided.
The internal layout was a quite traditional apartment building of 1 & 2 Bed apartments with several 3 Bed apartments at the top floor. The construction strategy was to include the principal structural system, SFS frame support and system assembly, otherwise the fit out was a traditional approach.
The blocks are predominantly red brick façades, a dark blue brick base line, with colour contrast details which pays homage to the details of many of the older local buildings.
PWA collected the project via the D&B contractor and taking the project on from RIBA Stage 3.
The planning application conditions were to be resolved and the construction and assembly to be developed through technical design into construction.
