The project scheme was to provide a new Premier Inn Hotel consisting of 63 bedrooms, with ample parking, located just off Glasfryn Road in St Davids. The hotel consists of 3 interconnected buildings with reception, dining and entertainment facilities. Works included the reconstruction and realignment of the access road and new junction layout from Glasfryn Road.
Building 1 is a 3-story building with a concrete ground slab to support a steel framed carcass up to the first floor lay-in slab and to support the walls and roof above, with a timber frame structure above for the first and second floors.
Buildings 2 & 3 were designed as 2 storey fully structural timber framed with the panels prefabricated off site. The access to buildings 2 & 3 is from building 1 using the lift foyer, access stairs and corridors all accessed through the links between the buildings.
