At PWA, we believe the future of architecture starts by giving young people the opportunity to experience the profession first-hand. That’s why we’re proud to offer work experience placements that provide students with a genuine insight into life within an architectural practice.
Recently, we welcomed Jazmine Myers to the team for a week of work experience, where she spent time learning about our projects, our people and the collaborative approach that underpins everything we do.
Whether exploring design concepts, understanding project delivery or experiencing the day-to-day workings of a busy practice, placements like these help students develop their knowledge while inspiring the next generation of industry professionals.
Throughout her placement, Jazmine worked alongside members of our architectural team, gaining valuable insight into the design process and the work involved in delivering projects from concept through to completion.
She had the opportunity to observe how different disciplines collaborate, ask questions and experience the variety of work that goes into creating successful architectural solutions.
Jazmine approached every task with enthusiasm, curiosity and a positive attitude, making a fantastic impression on everyone at PWA. We hope the experience has helped develop her understanding of the profession and provided valuable inspiration for the future.
We’re always keen to support students who are interested in architecture and the built environment.
If you’re looking for a work experience placement and would like to learn more about what it’s like to work within a professional architectural practice, we’d love to hear from you.
